[Announcement of seminar appearance] Sponsored by the Financial Finance Research Group: "Why did that renewable energy project fail?"

On May 25th, at a conference hosted by the Financial Finance Research Association, the representative, Mitsuru Misawa, said, "Why did that renewable energy project fail? 〜We will be speaking at a seminar titled "The Nature of Failure and Risk Avoidance Practice as Told by Lawyers with Experience in Development and Business〜."

Between 2024 and 2025, the legal and regulatory environment surrounding the renewable energy business has changed dramatically due to the enforcement of the revised Special Measures Act on Renewable Energy and the Embankment Regulation Act, as well as the introduction of local government ordinances. In fact, there have been many practical "failures," such as the withdrawal of large projects due to opposition from residents and large losses due to defects discovered after secondary transactions.

In this seminar, unlike typical legal explanations, the instructors, who have practical experience on the part of developers and businesses, will work backwards from "failure cases" and thoroughly analyze them. We will explain practical risk aversion techniques that will not disrupt investment and lending decisions, based on lessons learned from the field that are not clean.

Although there may be some discounts, we can also offer discounts.
